Last year, the Board of the Iowa Conference of the United Church of Christ unanimously declared they are Open and Affirming — and they are now calling on the rest of the Iowa Conference members and pastors to join them and declare the Iowa Conference, not just the board, as Open and Affirming.  Join us for a celebration of the diversity of God’s creation. 

Registration is available for a program from 12:30 -3:00 (for $40) featuring a conversation and audience Q&A with Glennon, as well as remarks by  Rev. Lawrence Richardson, an esteemed transgender African American minister — as each shares their own story of being fully who they are, fearfully and wonderfully made in the image of God.
