I read a lot. Mostly to relax on the weekends and in the evening. The following are some of my favorites:

Lois McMaster Bujold doesn't know how to write a bad story. All of her series are wonderful. They are filled with realistic characters and worlds that you can get immersed in. Look for the Vorkosigan Saga, the Sharing Knife, and stories of Chalion. These incorporate mystery, romance, fantasy/Sci-fi and some action with amazing plot lines. http://www.dendarii.com/

Kim Harrison writes the Hallows books. These are filled with supernatural beings as you have never imagined them. The vampires do not sparkle and the pixies aren't Tinkerbell. Each book is a fun romp. These books are chock full of mystery, supernatural hijinks, romance, and friendship. http://www.kimharrison.net/TheBooks.html

The Cat Who Mysteries by Lillian Jackson Braun are mysteries for the cat lover. If you wish your cat would tell you what was going on in their head, these are the books for you. The amazing part about this series is that it began in the 60's and resumed decades later. For a complete list, see the wiki http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cat_Who_series#Books

These are some of my absolute favorite series for quiet time with a cup of tea and maybe a snack. The Cat Who books especially make me want to munch on something. Be forewarned. :)

Reading is my favorite hobby, I do it whenever I can. I love novels that are sci-fi/fantasy.

I love the Dresden Files series by Jim Butcher. Harry Dresden is a wizard, these books are filled with magic, mystery, suspense and humor. My favorite series ever.

I too, love the Hallows books.

Patricia Briggs, Mercy Thompson series is great! Lots of shape shifters, vampires, and it is action packed.

Kelley Armstrong's series Women of the Otherworld series is fab too.

None of these books are filled with sex. There is romance and maybe a little sex but nothing like romance novels have (like Laurell K. Hamiliton)
