When Farah, the editor-in-chief of Huffington Post Parents, sent me this essay, I read it aloud to Sister through tears.

We really are all in this together. I’m thrilled and honored and humbled, and by humbled I mean wickedly proud of all of us Monkees and parents.

A couple Kairos moments a day. Good enough for me.

Congrats Farah and Lisa and Happy Birthday Huff Post Parents!

Love, G

  1. Oh dear friend the section about the health scare hit me right in the heart. I’m always sure it is “you know what” myself. Like Tom Petty says, “The waiting in the hardest part.” The actual news, good or bad, allows for a plan. There is a lot I don’t know about this big scary world but I do know you have done a lot of good and tragedy doesn’t usually follow that. Sending love, faith and prayers, dear friend.

  2. i don’t know where you have gone but i miss you and all your profound words…just lettin’ you know.

  3. “Don’t Carpe Diem” is the essay that had lead me to Momastery. Thank you for that. And thank you for being you. And just for being.
