“I wrapped my fear around me like a blanket. I sailed my ship of safety ’till I sank it. I’m crawling on your shores.”

I love you, too, Ginger! A Blessed Thanksgiving, everyone!

  4. This is a favorite song of mine too. My friend (and fellow Monkee) Diane and I won our dorm talent show with it nearly 20 years ago!

Thanks for reminding me of that wonderful friendship that has been there for so long and ever stronger through this blog, despite the miles that separate us.

    Happy Thanksgiving!

  6. Thanks … that is one of my favorite songs. I clung to it when I was drinking and now that I'm sober (read: thinking more clearly!!) it has so much more meaning. Happy Thanksgiving!
